If you are seeking understanding and change, you are in the right place. I specialize in working collaboratively with adults, young adults, and couples to explore life’s challenges. I believe that all people experience a collection of traumas, big or small, or difficult experiences. I also believe that those experiences often keep us from living the life we want. Whether you are seeking therapy for recovery from a traumatic event, or are just hoping to get to know yourself better, I provide effective approaches and solutions.

In my practice, I address acute trauma, PTSD, military sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. I work with addictions, eating disorders, body image challenges, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, hoarding, grief and loss, and self-esteem/self-confidence difficulties. I can also help you with relationship challenges, including communication difficulties, struggles with parenting, codependency, and difficulties associated with separation or divorce. I have extensive experience working with community mental health, with Veterans within the Veterans Administration Health Care System, and with in-patient and out-patient facilities serving individuals in recovery from addictions and eating disorders.

My practice orientation is integrative, holistic, and individualized. I combine traditional talk-therapy with creative, mindfulness-based, and body-centered methods if it is the right fit for you. As we work together, you decide what we work on, how we work, and the pace of therapy. My goal is to help you reach your goals. I appreciate all aspects of people, knowing that we all encounter different types of challenges when we face different situations or when we are with different people. I bring curiosity and non-judgment to all sessions, believing that all people can find answers, solutions, healing, recovery, and change. I also believe that all individuals benefit from feeling connected, and that the most important connection is the relationship we have with ourself.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, which includes an additional master’s level concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy. I am trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting; and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and continue to train in the areas trauma recovery, neuroscience, and attachment. I am also a SoulCollage Facilitator and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200).
