Orientation
My approach to treatment is based on what the individual client presents and
what I feel would be in the best interest of the individual/couple/family, at
the time. I am trained in Transactional Analysis, Family of Origin, Structural
Family Systems, Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, Hypnotherapy,
EMDR, and others. Much of my work currently
is utilizing Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. I enjoy working in Marriage
and Family Therapy and my passion is working with Addictions. I have specialized
in my work with Eating Disorders for over 30 years. As a result of my work in
the field of Addictions I was encouraged for many years to write about my findings
and I wrote and published my book, "Which came First...Addiction or Disease?" It
was first released December 15, 1999.
